Adrian Lopez

Shipping Department Manager

Adrian began his career at Aztec Tents in 1994 as supervisor of the tenting and manufacturing department.   In 2016, his strong work ethic and attention to detail indicated that he would be a perfect fit as the head of our shipping department.  Owner of Aztec Tents, Alex Kouzmanoff says, “After the order is written, processed and built, we lean on Adrian to get our tents to our customers on-time and in one piece.  He is the final link between Aztec and our customers and as the head of our shipping team, well,  he delivers!”  (pun intended)

Regional Account Manager, Eric Christensen recounts, “I recently had a fairly large order on the shipping dock ready to be sent.  Adrian called me and suggested an alternative carrier that not only delivered earlier than the deadline but also saved our customer almost $4000 in freight costs.  That was a win/win and it’s all because he took the time and did the extra work.

When Adrian is not managing the shipments and his team he loves to play basketball, spend time with his beautiful family. His pride & joy is his 11 year old daughter.

Frame Tents

Frame Tents feature a skeleton of aluminum framework and steel connectors to support the tent top. Although this style of tent is "free-standing" by design, it still must be anchored to resist wind forces. All styles of frame tents have no poles that come to the ground in the interior space of the tent.

Pole Tents

Pole tents rely on tension in the membrane to hold the shape of the tent system. These tents are supported by single or multiple centerpoles in the middle of the tent area and a series of sidepoles around the perimeter of the tent area. The tent is tensioned toward the anchoring locations commonly with a rope or ratchet strap.
