Installation time depends on the tent size, crew experience, and site conditions. The estimates below assume professional tent installers and include the tent and sidewalls only. Less-experienced crews should allow additional time.
30' × 75': 4–6 installers, approximately 4–6 hours
40' × 90': 6–8 installers, approximately 6–8 hours
50' × 105': 6–8 installers, approximately 8–10 hours
The tilt-up design allows crews to raise the arches one at a time, similar to a clearspan structure. Depending on the width, crew, and site conditions, 40' and 50' arches may be raised by hand or with an extended-reach forklift.
With proper care, the Graincoat finish on the aluminum beams can last 10 years or longer. Improper handling during transportation, installation, and storage is the most common cause of cosmetic damage.

Frame Tents
Frame Tents feature a skeleton of aluminum framework and steel connectors to support the tent top. Although this style of tent is "free-standing" by design, it still must be anchored to resist wind forces. All styles of frame tents have no poles that come to the ground in the interior space of the tent.

Pole Tents
Pole tents rely on tension in the membrane to hold the shape of the tent system. These tents are supported by single or multiple centerpoles in the middle of the tent area and a series of sidepoles around the perimeter of the tent area. The tent is tensioned toward the anchoring locations commonly with a rope or ratchet strap.
