Inspired by the sea, the sculpted peaks and eaves of the Tidewater® Sailcloth Tent combined with a no valance design create an open airy event space like nothing you’ve ever experienced. The highly translucent sailcloth fabric allows natural light to enhance your next daytime event and positively glows when lit for evening gatherings. The Tidewater® top is constructed of ProSail™III proprietary sailcloth material and features catenary shaped perimeter reinforcements and striking sun shaped eave and peak reinforcements that add to the unique feel of the tent. All leg spacing throughout remains 10’ regardless of tent size. The entire product line is available in both one piece and expandable versions and each is also available in a fully engineered design. The rounded ends of Tidewater® Sailcloth Tents require widths such as 32', 44', 51', 57', 66', and 82' so the sidewall sections can remain a standard 10' width. This allows any 10' Tidewater® sidewall panel to be used across the Tidewater® product line.
Possibly, but Aztec recommends Tidewater®-specific sidewalls. They are designed to seal properly against the valance-free tent top, roll up in manageable 10' sections, and include pole straps that help reduce movement in windy conditions.

Frame Tents
Frame Tents feature a skeleton of aluminum framework and steel connectors to support the tent top. Although this style of tent is "free-standing" by design, it still must be anchored to resist wind forces. All styles of frame tents have no poles that come to the ground in the interior space of the tent.

Pole Tents
Pole tents rely on tension in the membrane to hold the shape of the tent system. These tents are supported by single or multiple centerpoles in the middle of the tent area and a series of sidepoles around the perimeter of the tent area. The tent is tensioned toward the anchoring locations commonly with a rope or ratchet strap.
