Frame Tents: Qwik-top®
The Qwik-top® Frame Tent utilizes tensioned-valance technology to create a tighter fitting tent top. By using the tensioned valance you can eliminate the traditional “buckles” used to attach the top to the frame, thus greatly reducing installation time and offering a better performing covering in foul weather. With a frame identical to the Standard Expandable design a user can always opt to upgrade an existing frame to a Qwik-top® by simply replacing the top and adding Qwik™ Baseplates. The Qwik-top® system is available in one-piece non-expandable versions, as well as expandable versions with a lace or metal clasp connection.

Yes. The Qwik-top® uses a catenary-tension design rather than the perimeter straps and buckles used on a traditional frame-tent top. It is designed to fit frames commonly referred to as West Coast frames with a 1:2 roof pitch, or 6 inches of rise for every 12 inches of run.
Some West Coast-style frames are sold with basic baseplates or no dedicated tensioning connection. The Qwik-top® requires a baseplate with an attached stub so the tent-top tensioning system can connect securely. Therefore, you may need to purchase a compatible baseplate or modify the existing baseplate to accommodate the Qwik-top® tensioning system.
Yes. One-piece Qwik-top® tent tops are available in widths from 10' through 40'. Expandable clasp-and-lace and lace-line versions are also available in widths from 10' through 40', with 10', 15', and 20' extension mid-sections.
Pricing varies based on size and configuration. As a general guide, pricing starts at $2,128 USD for a 10’ x 10’ tent with one piece top, and ranges up to $25,215 USD for an expandable 40’ x 80’ configuration. Contact our team for a customized quote.
Frame Tents
Frame Tents feature a skeleton of aluminum framework and steel connectors to support the tent top. Although this style of tent is "free-standing" by design, it still must be anchored to resist wind forces. All styles of frame tents have no poles that come to the ground in the interior space of the tent.

Pole tents rely on tension in the membrane to hold the shape of the tent system. These tents are supported by single or multiple centerpoles in the middle of the tent area and a series of sidepoles around the perimeter of the tent area. The tent is tensioned toward the anchoring locations commonly with a rope or ratchet strap.
