TORRANCE, Calif. – July 14, 2025 – Aztec Tents, a leading global manufacturer of tents, canopies, and other industrial fabric solutions proudly announces the newest addition to its best-selling Tidewater Series: the 66-foot-wide (20m) Tidewater Twin Pole Sailcloth Tent. This latest innovation marks the eighth model in the Tidewater Sailcloth Tent line, which debuted in 2009 and has since become a mainstay of upscale outdoor events across North America, Europe, and Australia.

Developed in response to growing demand from rental professionals across the country, the new 66-foot model enhances the Tidewater experience with its twin pole design, creating a dramatically open layout while maintaining the series’ hallmark visual appeal. The base tent unit covers 2500 square feet (232sqm) of event space, and its modular nature allows it to expand to 10,000 square feet (929sqm) making it an ideal solution for large-scale gatherings.

Although this style of tent is "free-standing" by design, it still must be anchored to resist wind forces. All styles of frame tents have no poles that come to the ground in the interior space of the tent.

    Pole tents rely on tension in the membrane to hold the shape of the tent system. These tents are supported by single or multiple centerpoles in the middle of the tent area and a series of sidepoles around the perimeter of the tent area. The tent is tensioned toward the anchoring locations commonly with a rope or ratchet strap.
