NICK BUDICH JOINS AZTEC TENTS

Regional Area Manager to Support Growth in the Pacific Northwest

Aztec Tents, one of the largest manufacturers of tents and tent-related accessories in the United States, is continuing its initiative to build the highest level of customer service for their clients with the addition of Nick Budich, our newest Regional Account Manager (RAM). Nick will service the Central Region including the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Illinois. 

Nick joins Aztec Tents following a successful 16-year career in the event rental industry, 2 years with Kohler Catering and 14 years with Prime Time Party Rental, both headquartered out of Dayton, OH. The decade and a half that Nick spent in the industry has armed him with a wealth of first‐hand experience with tents, logistics, operations, and event management.

Q: What’s the most important lesson you learned in your previous roles within the event rental industry?
- With the combination of hard work and the right equipment, there is nothing that can’t be done.

Q: Why have you stuck with the event rental business for so long?
- Whether it's a birthday, graduation, wedding, or corporate gala, the event going on is a very important day in that clients life. Knowing that I’ve played a part in that is incredibly satisfying and fulfilling.

Q: What are you most looking forward to in your new role with Aztec Tents?
- Getting to work with and learn from rental partners across my region and helping them accomplish their individual goals.

Frame Tents feature a skeleton of aluminum framework and steel connectors to support the tent top. Although this style of tent is "free-standing" by design, it still must be anchored to resist wind forces. All styles of frame tents have no poles that come to the ground in the interior space of the tent.

    Pole tents rely on tension in the membrane to hold the shape of the tent system. These tents are supported by single or multiple centerpoles in the middle of the tent area and a series of sidepoles around the perimeter of the tent area. The tent is tensioned toward the anchoring locations commonly with a rope or ratchet strap.
