Aaron Miller

Marketing Coordinator

Brand new to the tenting industry but equipped with 10+ years of marketing and event experience, Aaron Miller joined Aztec Tents in 2023 to serve as their Marketing Coordinator. His core responsibilities include graphic design, social media management, and email marketing while aiding Aztec’s team of regional account managers. He can be reached at a.miller@aztectent.com.

Aaron was born and raised in the small and hardworking mountain town of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. There, he attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree focused in marketing and entrepreneurship. It wasn’t long after he graduated that the world shut down in response to Covid 19. With few companies looking to hire, Aaron parlayed his degree and longtime relationships with local business owners to create a small consulting service that provided marketing strategy and guidance. Over the next few years, he consulted a wide variety of individuals and businesses ranging from bars, restaurants, and ice cream shops to a performative theater, a hair care company, and even a software company executive.

A true product of Western Pennsylvania, Aaron grew up an avid skier, hiker, and explorer of the densely forested Appalachian Mountains. He currently lives in Redondo Beach, California and spends his free time playing basketball, relaxing at the beach, and cheering on his beloved Pittsburgh sports teams.

Frame Tents

Frame Tents feature a skeleton of aluminum framework and steel connectors to support the tent top. Although this style of tent is "free-standing" by design, it still must be anchored to resist wind forces. All styles of frame tents have no poles that come to the ground in the interior space of the tent.

Pole Tents

Pole tents rely on tension in the membrane to hold the shape of the tent system. These tents are supported by single or multiple centerpoles in the middle of the tent area and a series of sidepoles around the perimeter of the tent area. The tent is tensioned toward the anchoring locations commonly with a rope or ratchet strap.
