Erika Estrada

Support Representative

Erika Estrada started her career with Aztec Tents in 2018 working in the sales department as an Inside Customer Service/Support Representative. Developed over 10 years of experience in the customer service industry, her strong work ethic and superior service mentality make Erika an indispensable member of the Aztec Team.  Most of her days are filled with order processing, supporting her team of outside Regional Account Managers (RAM’S), and expanding her knowledge of the tenting world’s ins and outs. Other duties under her purview include logistics, customer relationship management, order consolidation, and directing phone customers to their appropriate destination.

Born and raised in Inglewood, CA where she currently resides, Erika has a love for collecting sneakers. They bring her back to a childhood nostalgia that has continued in her life as an adult and in the passing down of that love of sneakers to her son as well. Outside of her work life, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends along with her son Eric. She also enjoys hiking, traveling, and being the best dog mom to her favorite Frenchie, Stitch.

Frame Tents

Frame Tents feature a skeleton of aluminum framework and steel connectors to support the tent top. Although this style of tent is "free-standing" by design, it still must be anchored to resist wind forces. All styles of frame tents have no poles that come to the ground in the interior space of the tent.

Pole Tents

Pole tents rely on tension in the membrane to hold the shape of the tent system. These tents are supported by single or multiple centerpoles in the middle of the tent area and a series of sidepoles around the perimeter of the tent area. The tent is tensioned toward the anchoring locations commonly with a rope or ratchet strap.
