SUSTAINABILITY: OUR COMMITTMENT TO TOMORROW

At Aztec Tents, we believe responsible manufacturing means thinking beyond today’s needs and designing products that stand the test of time. Sustainability is woven into how we build, source, and support our tent structures—through thoughtful decisions that reduce waste, extend product life, and respect the environments where our products are used.

We prioritize durability and longevity in our designs, producing high-quality tent systems intended for repeated use over many years. By manufacturing products that can be repaired, reconfigured, and reused, we help minimize material consumption and reduce the need for frequent replacement.

Our in-house manufacturing and printing capabilities allow us to maintain tight control over materials, production efficiency, and quality standards. This approach reduces transportation impacts, limits excess waste, and ensures components are produced accurately the first time. When possible, materials are repurposed or recycled, and offcuts are minimized through efficient production planning.

As a long-standing manufacturer in the tent and event industry, we are committed to continuous improvement—seeking smarter processes, better materials, and more efficient methods that align quality, performance, and environmental responsibility.

Sustainability, to us, is about building products that last, operating thoughtfully, and being accountable to our customers, our industry, and the future.

Adoption of Energy-Efficient Practices We have made significant investments to secure equipment and upgrades to our facility that requires less energy consumption.

  • LED Facility Lighting
  • Motion sensing lighting systems.
  • Increasing thermal insulation to lessen requirements to use conventional HVAC systems.

Reducing waste

  • We’ve implemented lean manufacturing techniques to reduce material waste.
  • Recycling and repurposing by-products of the manufacturing process and packaging

Sustainable sourcing of raw materials

  • When possible, we are able to utilize recycled or renewable products.
  • We partner with suppliers that adhere to ethical and sustainable practices.
  • We opt for locally sourced materials, when possible, to reduce the carbon footprint associated with transportation.

Optimizing water usage

  • All plumbing facilities are equipped with low flow technologies.
  • We’ve made conscious efforts to reduce vegetation around our facilities that would require irrigation.

Frame Tents

Frame Tents feature a skeleton of aluminum framework and steel connectors to support the tent top. Although this style of tent is "free-standing" by design, it still must be anchored to resist wind forces. All styles of frame tents have no poles that come to the ground in the interior space of the tent.

Pole Tents

Pole tents rely on tension in the membrane to hold the shape of the tent system. These tents are supported by single or multiple centerpoles in the middle of the tent area and a series of sidepoles around the perimeter of the tent area. The tent is tensioned toward the anchoring locations commonly with a rope or ratchet strap.
